The biggest change that I am excited about is having people who are on my Steam friends list show up as blue on my minimap, which is a long overdue feature. Until now, even when playing with my fellow DN members, I still feel like I'm soloing without knowing for sure where the "guys I can trust" are located in the map.

PC Patch 1.05

• MP Audio stuttering on certain systems.
• Playercards sometimes not showing properly.
• Added three Private Match Server Settings: Team Change, Team-Up Period, and Keep Balanced Teams.
• Added Alternate Color Scheme for accessibility: Settings / Multiplayer / Player Name Indicator.
• Changed Team-Up Period countdown interval to 10 seconds.
• Combat Training sessions are no longer counted in Server Browser Unranked tab.
• Friends on your team will now show as blue on your minimap.
• Prevention of various exploits.
• Objective markers localized for all languages.
• Various stability improvements

Obviously, this new patch leaves a lot to be desired, such as a fix for the horrendous performance issues on some gaming pc's.

Also, Treyarch's community manager, Josh Olin, updated the list of "In Progress" updates that will be rolled out in future patches.

• Addition of new contracts.
• Addition of the “Dolly Cam” editing mode in Theater.
• If a player cancels an invite to a Wager Match, then attempts to join another server, they will join the server from the declined invite.
• Issue where the incorrect perks would appear when spectating another player under certain conditions.
• Addition of round start explosive delay to China Lake grenade launcher to give it the same “spawn toob” protection as other explosives.
• Ensure reticle purchases are reset on prestige in all circumstances.
• Contracts should reset on prestige.
• Prevention of Valkyrie rocket exploding upon release under rare conditions.
• Prevention of Gunship and Chopper Gunner failing to give player full control under rare conditions.
• Prevention of an issue where a player will get teleported outside the map boundaries under very specific conditions.
• Limit the ability to re-roll supply drops using Hardline Pro to Care Packages only, no other killstreak drops.
• Increased headshot multipliers for sniper rifles. Sniper rifles with suppressors equipped will now always be ensured one-shot kill headshots.
• Added a render delay to the red diamond player indicators that appear when controlling the Gunship, Valkyrie Rocket and Chopper Gunner. When a player first spawns, this will not appear for a period of time.
• Additional minor reductions in knife lunge.

Some of these issues seem very simple to fix, and as a former developer for Quake-engine based games, I fail to see how they neglected to get these fixes live in the latest patch, as console players have had things such as Dolly Cam and Knife nerfing for over a month now.

We will have both a Ranked and Unranked server. Ranked will be stock and unranked will be tweaked to however we like! Hopefully we'll see a competition mod fairly quickly to throw on the unranked server.

Team-DN is back into full swing as we gear up for some COD4 TWL action. We have faired well in prior TWL comp in TDM and SAB ladders and as part of our mission to re-establish ourselves as a force to be reckoned with we just joined the NA TWL 5v5 Promod Ladder. If you are already in DN and would like to compete you can follow the link above to get joined up. Ask an admin for the join password. First of all there's DN*Taker. Taker was a former leader of Team DomiNation back in it's infancy before he moved on to eGF. He was a member there for almost 2 years and it is a great pleasure to have him back on the squad. He is a well rounded player who plays a strong assault class and has been known to pick up the scope from time to time. It's great to have ya back fam!

Then of course there's Syco. Whether he's grinding scrubs on the asphalt or in-game, Syco is in it to win it. A seasoned Call of Duty 4 player with a sick scope and impressive map generalship, Syco is most certainly a force to be reckoned with.
